RRCUS National Specialty 2010 - Bitches
Thursday dawned much brighter than the day before, the fog had lifted at last. Today was for the heart and soul of any breed - the bitch classes.
Again we began with the Veteran Bitches - my, oh, my! Talk about some grand old gals! The 7-9 years Veteran Bitches....very, very lovely class.
The 9-11 year old Veteran Bitches - nice class!
The 11+ years Veteran Class. Grand Old Girls.
The 6-9 months Puppy Bitches.
The 9-12 months Puppy Bitches.
The 12-18 month Junior Bitches. So much quality and depth of quality in the class it was a crime to have only 4 placements!
The Bred By Exhibitor class. WOWSER! This was a huge class of great quality. Again, there were simply not enough ribbons for all that deserved one.
The American Bred class....just as I took this photo, there was a commotion back behind them. Again, lovely winners in this group.
the Open Bitches class. Another huge class of nice bitches.
Going in for Winner's Bitch, my 3 top contenders were from the 12-18 class, the BBE class and the Ambred class. My BBE bitch did not like the whooping of the crowd and Winner's Bitch went to the Ambred who coolly glided around the ring like a champ. Reserve Winner's Bitch went to the 12-18 month Junior Bitch who was equally fantastic.
The Field Bitches. My first place in this class went on to get an Award of Merit.
The Altered Bitch class had some wonderful gals who strutted their stuff, too.
