It's Official - Summer Snake Season Is Here

I'd mowed in the back and part of the yard by the back patio, but it was getting hot and I needed to go to Wally World, so I left the rest for the evening. After I got back, I started out the back door to put some seed out in the bird feeder when I noticed a dark squiggly line in the yard.

A black snake was lying out there in the mowed area... the dogs were oblivious to it.. the pups were romping around... hadn't noticed it at all. Snakes must not have much scent.

I decided to run get the camera and once I had it and stepped out to photograph the snake, then Sizzle noticed it and went toward it.

It kicked into gear and scooted off outside the fence in a hurry!

About This Blog

Originally, this was a place to tell you my news. Then I got a new camera and it became a way to see how we live here at Kalahari Rhodesian Ridgebacks - the fun things, the everyday things and even the humdrum things.

It's just home. I'm glad you stopped by and come again!
